40th Anniversary Celebration

CARECEN’s 40th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Ceremony scheduled to air October 7, 2021 at 6:30. The Celebration will be virtual especially as we recognize the sacrifices so many members of our community have made throughout the pandemic
Thank you for making a donation in support of CARECEN’s 40th anniversary. Your donation will help us reach the following milestones in 2022:
- Serve 2,500 individuals through immigration, citizenship and housing services
- Protect affordable housing for more than 1,200 people who live in coops or rental properties
- Prepare and graduate more than 275 US citizens who will become engaged members of their local communities
During our virtual gala, we will celebrate our theme - Together We are Stronger: 40 years of Surviving, Thriving, and Inspiring
We are pleased to be joined by Alejandro Negron as a Master of Ceremonies and look forward to honoring Events DC for their critical role in providing funds for the undocumentted members of our community and Maria Gomez, CEO of Mary’s Center for her tireless efforts as a leader for the Latino community for more than 30 years.
Musical performers will include Lilo Gonzalez and Elena Lacayo.
